Killaloe Music Festival
St Flannan’s Cathedral is proud to be the primary venue for the annual SCS Killaloe Music Festival, which has garnered a reputation for showcasing established and emerging musical talent who provide performances of the highest calibre over the June bank holiday weekend.
The festival’s Artistic Director, renowned violinist Katherine Hunka, puts together an incredible festival programme and invites artists from across Ireland and the world to our beautiful town in a celebration of music and the arts.
Talks & Exhibitions
St Flannan’s Cathedral is the venue for talks given by the Killaloe-Ballina Local History Society from the months of May to October.
The pew seating, sound system and lectern are ideal for public speaking along with accommodation for a projector and screen at the sanctuary crossing.
The nave is the perfect exhibition space. Three community art exhibitions are currently held through the calendar year, these have proven to be an ideal showcase for both amateur and professional artists.
